News Article Allies donates £20,000 to charity
Allies is proud to announce a donation of £20,000 to ten different charities, with each receiving £2,000.

As part of its annual charitable giving, its team of 18 employees were invited to nominate the causes that matter most to them. The result was a diverse list of charities supporting both local communities and global initiatives.
Several of the chosen charities are based in East Anglia and have had a direct impact on the lives of Allies staff. These include Nelsons Journey, Time Norfolk, Home for Good: Suffolk and St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.
A spokesman for Nelsons Journey, Gary Stevens, Funding and Marketing Manager, said “We’re so grateful for the Allies donation and support. It’s great to be supported by a fantastic local company and their donation really goes a long way in helping us to continue providing our services to support bereaved children and young people in Norfolk.”
Elaine Ingram, Co-ordinator for Home for Good: Suffolk, remarked “This generous donation will help us champion fostering & adoption in Suffolk. We’re so grateful - it will make a real difference!”
The six remaining groups; RNLI, Good Law Project, TransActual, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Medical Aid for Palestinians and Crohns MAP Vaccine, acknowledge a wider range of causes that team members feel strongly about.
Speaking about the company’s approach to giving, Dan Cooper, CEO of Allies, said “As a growing employee-owned business, we’re dedicated to supporting our local communities and worthy causes through both donations and volunteering. By involving our team in selecting the recipients of our charitable giving, we ensure our contributions reflect the passions and the values of the people who drive our success.”
Jacob Yerrill, Junior Developer & Support Specialist for Allies, added “The ongoing research into treatments for patients with Crohn’s disease is deeply important to me. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with a company that genuinely values our input and is capable of making meaningful contributions to this vital work.”
Allies is committed to championing meaningful causes by empowering its team to make a difference - both in its communities and around the world.
