For the second year running, a team of seven from Allies are braving 10 miles of Tough Mudder to raise money for charity. This year, the team is running for Cancer Research UK.
As in previous charity events run by the company, 100% of sponsorship money is going to the charity, with costs of the event being covered by Allies on behalf of the team.
In addition to covering the travel and event costs, the company is putting forward £1000 to kick-start the team’s fundraising efforts.
“Following on from the success of last year, we are back again with more people and more miles in front of us”, says Adam Aldridge, who is taking up the mantle of team captain once again.
We’re running twice as many miles this year, but the team has been training and are ready to get muddy for charity.
Cancer Research UK was selected by the team as the charity of choice because of their life-saving research into stopping a disease that caused 163,444 deaths in the UK in 2016.
To do your part, you can donate towards the team’s efforts at their MyDonate page. The team start their run on 18th May, with donations accepted up until 18th June.
